A
friendly fun-loving group of guides will share their
jokes as you travel. It's a warm greeting you get
when you are first met for your tour. A short ride from
your starting location takes you to your jeep. A rugged
African Land Rover style vehicle is waiting to handle
you and up to 7 others. You can choose to be a driver or
a rider. But if you decide to drive, you must know how
to drive a stick-shift vehicle and bring your drivers
license with you.
A little instruction and seat adjustment and you are on
your way, following safari-style, to the wild side. You
will enjoy some unique stops along the way.
Among them, see Boca Prins, where the terrain and
vegetation change dramatically to sand dunes and
limestone bluffs. The California Lighthouse is another
highlight and it sits on a hilltop at Aruba's
northernmost tip. Alto Vista Chapel brings you back to
the days when the Caiquetio Indians and Spanish settlers
built it.
Of course, no trip is complete without a stop at the
Natural Bridge, Aruba's most photographed attraction.
Add Shark's Mouth, Wish Garden, the Arikok National Park
and a few other interesting sights and you will have a
real experience on a wonderful island that you will
always remember. In between stops, you will have a
sumptuous B.B.Q. Aruba-style lunch with unlimited drinks
served at an open air restaurant.
Your final stop at Baby Beach for a little snorkeling
will be the perfect end to this day. Your gear will be
provided. Refreshed, you will be taken back to where you
started. Departures

You will drive past lovely cottages in the countryside,
painted with colorful decorations. Those patterns, your
guide will tell you, are not mere ornamentation, but hex
designs with ancient superstitious meaning. Just like
the hex designs of the Pennsylvania Dutch, they are
remnants of their heritage.
We may stop to see the Gold Mill Ruins as well as the
Natural Bridge, Aruba's most famous natural feature and
the largest of eight such coral formations on the island
and the Ayo Rock formations, where the remains of Indian
rock drawings are still visible.
Where these gals take you, you'll have a wonderful

This
splendid kayak trip offers such riveting history that
you'll forget to paddle! What turns me on about
this trip is that it is more than a kayaking experience.
Your launch point is the site of Aruba's first capital,
Savaneta. You'll hug the coastline along the mangroves
until you reach the legendary "Spanish
Lagoon". Your imagination runs wild as you hear the
tales about this hiding place of the famed pirates of
the Caribbean.
Onward across the lagoon to the famous DePalm Island.
This perfect spot for shelling and snorkeling will take
you out of your kayak to delight in the feel of the sand
and warm water. You are on a coral reef with an enormous
variety of marine life enhanced by the clear water.
Starving by now? It's time for lunch at a local
restaurant, actually sitting on a chair, gazing at the
water. This is not a usual setting for a kayak lunch and
we are delighted to offer it.
Now that you're feeling like one of the rich and famous,
it's back into your kayak, only to pass by the Nautical
Club with a chance to see the unbelievable yachts that
this island attracts.
Upon your return to shore, you will be taken to your
final destination.
This is your opportunity to experience the exciting
sport of kayaking. Enjoyable for all, kayaking combines
the fun of water sports with the thrill of exploration.

A
Desert Course With An Ocean View. Designed by
renowned Robert Trent Jones II, and situated on the
scenic northwest point of Aruba, this course is the only
18 hole championship golf course on the island.
This course has taken the sport of golf to a new
high-tech level with the latest in satellite and
computer technology. The popular 18-hold PGA
Championship Course has installed the Parview GPS
system, a one-of-a-kind satellite network that is
designed to enhance the golfing experience, while
enabling the resort to improve overall course
operations, efficiency and service to the guest. One of
the very first courses in the Caribbean to utilize the
Parview technology, this course is proud to be a member
of an elite group of golf courses.
Each golf carts is equipped with a satellite dish and a
10.4” color screen. Some of the features include
graphic hole and green overviews; exact distancing from
the cart to the center of the green; exact pin placement
for each day; electronic scoring; two-way communication
with the clubhouse; food and beverage ordering from the
cart to the grill and pro tips.
Pro Tips
Wind:
As Nick Price would say, during the 1998 Shell's
Wonderful World of Golf, "keep you hat on tight
when you play here!" The various wind conditions in
Aruba can challenge golfers of all abilities. Bring your
imagination since club selection can prove to be your
greatest asset.
Terrain:
Typical desert links terrain - dry, arid and for the
most part flat. The fairways are fairly wide for desert
links, very forgiving and in excellent condition
(Bermuda Grass). The wind is more a factor when
negotiating your approach shot to the green.
Hazards:
Include sand bunkers filled with soft white sand, found
on Aruba's lush beaches, cacti, coral rock formations
and water hazards, which we refer to as Salinas. The
bunkers, cacti and coral rock come into play throughout
the course. Water comes into play on holes 13, 14 and 15
only.
Green:
Are wide and accommodating. They are Bermuda Tif Dwarf
grass. Put very honestly, no hidden breaks, fast and
most putts are affected by the wind. Pin placements are
fair.

What
a great way to experience Aruba. Sit back and

Pilgrim's Church. You will also see the California
Lighthouse which is popularly named for the off-shore
wreck of the famous ship, "California."
Perched on a high seaside elevation, the lighthouse has
become one of Aruba's scenic trademarks and offers a
picture perfect view of the island's western coastline
of sandy beaches. Nearby, you will visit Bushiribana
Gold Mill Ruins where you will follow in the footsteps
of history's swashbuckling adventurers that traveled
through the Caribbean in search of gold. Then you will
enjoy the Rock Formation of Ayo. The stone formations at
Ayo were once the dwelling place of an ancient race of
people that left markings on the stone boulders. The
area is surrounded with huge stones that look as if they
had been stacked on top of each other by giants.
You will also stop at the Natural Bridge, Aruba's most
photographed attraction.
Of course, no trip is complete without a stop at the
Aloe Factory.
During your tour, you will have an opportunity to stop
at a lovely beach where snorkel gear will be available
for those who are interested. You can swim or just relax
on the warm sand and take in the view.Departures
